A Dream Born in
Minneapolis

Pizza Luce began as a late-night dream in 1999, when founder Marcus Webb decided that Minneapolis deserved a pizza that truly pushed boundaries. Armed with a wood-fired oven, a collection of bold spices, and an unwavering belief in quality ingredients, he opened the doors of the first Pizza Luce on 4th Street.

What started as a 10-table neighborhood spot quickly became the go-to destination for pizza lovers looking for something beyond the ordinary. From our legendary roasted garlic sauce to our housemade dough fermented for 48 hours, every detail was deliberate — and it showed.

Today, Pizza Luce is a beloved Minneapolis institution. We've grown, but our soul hasn't changed: bold flavors, local ingredients, an inclusive community, and an unrelenting love for great food.

Our Mission & Core Values

Every pizza we make is guided by principles that go beyond great taste — they reflect who we are as a community and a business.

Made with Love

Every pizza is handcrafted with genuine care. We don't cut corners — we believe the difference between good and great is the love you put in.

Fresh & Sustainable

We source produce from local Midwest farms, reduce food waste daily, and make sustainability a core practice — not an afterthought.

Inclusive Community

Pizza Luce is for everyone. Our doors are wide open — diverse menu, welcoming staff, and a space where every guest feels at home.

Relentless Quality

We hold every ingredient, every recipe, and every delivery to the highest standard. Great pizza isn't an accident — it's a commitment.
